The Deathwatch are a unique Chapter of Space Marines, formed from elite warriors seconded from other Chapters to serve the Inquisition’s Ordo Xenos. These agents are equipped with rare and powerful wargear and deployed on high‑risk missions against the most dangerous alien threats in the galaxy. On Armageddon, Kill Teams operate across the war‑torn world, lending their expertise to the fight against the Ork invasion.
At the heart of this strike force is the Corvus Blackstar, an aircraft exclusive to the Deathwatch. Outfitted with esoteric technology that distorts its silhouette, the Blackstar is designed for covert insertion and heavy fire support. It can be armed with a twin assault cannon or twin lascannon, as well as Blackstar rocket launchers or stormstrike missile launchers. Optional upgrades include a hurricane bolter, auspex array, and Infernum halo-launcher, and its three air brakes can be assembled open or closed.
The Deathwatch Kill Team included in this set is highly customisable and can be built as two smaller squads or one larger unit. The kit allows you to assemble:
- 2 Sergeants, each of which can alternatively be built as Veterans
- 2 Gravis Veterans with Infernus heavy bolter, frag cannon, or hellstorm bolt rifle
- 2 Veterans with heavy thunder hammer or power maul and shield
- 2 Veterans with stalker bolt rifle or plasma incinerator
- 2 Veterans with marksman bolt carbine or combat knife
Each model has a unique helmeted head, and the kit includes 32 interchangeable bare heads, 32 Tacticus shoulder pads, 14 Gravis shoulder pads, and 12 Phobos shoulder pads, allowing for extensive personalisation.
Together, the Corvus Blackstar and Kill Team form a fast, deadly and elite force capable of striking at the Imperium’s most dangerous foes with precision and overwhelming force.
